The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25th 2015, followed by a second quake of 7.2 on May 12th 2015, devastated buildings across the country. Shree Sundrawati Lower Secondary School in Damarang, Suspa-Kshemawati, Dolakha was no exception. The school, home to 190 students, was reduced to rubble. Nearly two years later, the children areĀ stillĀ attending classes in temporary structures, some of which are without roofs.

This project, a partnership between Fashelung Samajik Sewa (FSS), a registered community organization in Dolakha, Nepal; Nepal Library Foundation (NLF), a registered Canadian Charity; and Nepal Cultural Society of BC (NCSBC), a non-profit organization registered in British Columbia, Canada aims to build a new structure on the school premises to house an E-Library and a Community Tutorial Centre that will benefit the entire local community.
